The Last Pages Of My Book
The Last Pages Of My Book

I open my book,
I find its first page fresh
With memories of my school
I turn the second page
I feel something sweet.
More pages turn over
And my heart beats fast
As if I am about something else.
The school veranda
Gifted me with memories
NO
That's not I am talking about.
I turn my pages eagerly
Each page turns
My heart beats faster.
Here comes,
The last pages of my book
Like friends,
They stick together.
Like friends,
They hold tight each other.
Like friends
They rise and fall together.
The last pages of my book
Even though unused mostly
Taught me the most valuable lessons of my life
Than any other pages of my book
The lesson that teaches
The value of friendship.
