The Last Adieu

How far I have come I don't know,

But from here no further can I go.

I look back and search for you,

To utter out my last adieu.

Years have flown away like a wind,

But old memories still linger in my mind.

Those golden days and childish plays,

Those were the days we had our ways.

Now in isolation as I stand,

I still feel the strength of your hand.

Your friendship I have long cherished,

To be your friend I have always wished.
