The Girl Who Remembers

The Girl Who Remembers

The moment when we met first off,

Is now just a memory, so hard to doff.

Our love was meant to last till doomsday,

But it knocked down, turning my life gray.

I remember us walking hand in hand,

And you abandoning me swift as gliding sand.

I live for your smile, it feels like bliss,

Yes, I'd give my life, just for that one kiss.

If you look back to your promises, vows and that month of December,

You'll find me there.
