The Friendship

The Friendship

The more I talk to you, the more you draw me near,
Like a soft melody that only I can hear.
Let’s find a sunny day, no clouds, no sleet—
To meet at last, and give each other a treat.

I’m tired of scrolling through endless tweets,
Let’s trade them in for laughter and sweets.
You came into my life with a sudden kaboom!
Now joy, like sunlight, fills every room.

The withered sunflowers that once bent low,
Now lift their heads in your golden glow.
In every chat, your voice so clear,
It feels like you're whispering right in my ear.

Each word you say, so warm, so rare,
Tastes just like a ripened pear.
Though we’re apart, like flavors afar,
Like Mysore Pak and Rasgulla in separate jar—

Their sweetness lives, their richness stays,
Just like our bond that defies all days.
From silly jokes to thoughts profound,
In our connection, true joy is found.

We share our hearts, no need for disguise,
True friends are a blessing, a lifelong prize.
And even when silence settles for a while,
Your memory brings back a gentle smile.

So here’s to friendship, loyal and true—
A rare delight like morning dew.
One day we’ll meet, no need to speak,
The bond will shine, no words to seek.
