The Boy Who Asked Questions
The Boy Who Asked Questions

Born an average human child
Nothing out of the graph
The complex network of a human brain
Represented by a silly laugh
Time flew by, as I grew up
The average human tendency started warming my brain gears
Wanted to see everything, wanted to perceive everything
First came curiosity then courage then fears
The battle arena was set
Intense was the session
Up against the adults and elders with their mightiest of wisdoms
I am just a little boy who asked a question
What is this? Why is this?
What is its function?
Why do the clouds move but the stars remain still?
I am just a little boy who asked a question
I started going to school
Uniform, black shoes, a bag pack, everything in fashion
First came fear, then confusion, then boredom
I am just a little boy, afraid to ask a question
Kid to a teen
Now higher are the stakes
Pencils are replaced by inerasable pens
I was expected to make no mistakes
The battle arena was set again
Angry teachers with their homework banners
Fuelled by their frustration and workload
While I am still a little boy, now with mugged up answers
Teen to an adult
A confusing transition
Now Google gives me all the answers, but also suggests questions
I wish I was a still a little boy who asked a question
