The Anomalous Night

The Anomalous Night

The colour of the sky changes,

Becomes suddenly darker,

It's almost 3 at night,

These minutes are getting slower.

It's been hours without snowfall,

But nobody's concerned about that,

These mild breezes are flowing,

And those lakes are freezing flat.

I'm standing at the window,

Staring at the starry sky,

Maybe it's too late to ask for

That help which never got a reply.

It's a fate where things happen,

It's never anyone's fault,

Just like this cold midnight of winter,

Isn't blessed with snowfall.
