Tears Sing
Tears Sing
If smiles could speak,
Tears would sing.
I smile, I spread Joy,
I weep, I share Sorrow,
I can drown with sorrow,
Can I swim with joy?
I die, I reach heaven,
I live, where do I go?
Hopes bind my breadth,
They wait for a moment to come,
A moment that will stay forever.
A moment that will never come.
That never stays, that never comes,
Says He,
What comes, does that stay?
Tears are my friends,
Never leaves me alone.
I smile, am afraid,
Tears will wipe me.
I cry I shed tears,
No one takes away from me.
Pious drops Indeed!
My friend they are,
I love them, I hate them,
I treasure them, I discard them.
They love me, they come back.
Again to be shed,
Again, to lose its identity,
Again, to drown in sorrow,
Again, to sing.
They sing for me,
I love them.
They sing for me,
Can’t stay without.
