The sun slowly peeps from the horizon,
It's rays furnishing light and life on everything it touches.
The shimmering rays refresh the nature around,
It throws open another wonderful occasion,
To prove that life is worth living.
It brings to view the crystal clear diamonds,
On the leaves and flowers of my backyard,
Fresh,pure,transparent and refreshing in their form,
Yet,delicate and are subjected to ephemeral.
They fade away as the heat rays hit them,
Am I like the dew that hastens to quit?
