Summer

Summer

Beneath the sun's warm, golden kiss,

Summer unfolds its blissful bliss.

Fields of green and skies so clear,

A symphony of warmth drawing near.

The sunlit days in hues of gold,

A story of summer silently told.

Lazy afternoons and skies so blue,

Nature's canvas, a vibrant view.

Sunflowers stand in proud array,

Chasing the sun throughout the day.

Rippling waters, a gentle stream,

Reflecting the season's radiant dream.

Beaches adorned with grains of sand,

Where waves caress the sunlit land.

Children's laughter, a carefree tune,

Underneath the summer's gentle moon.

Crickets serenade the velvet night,

Stars above, a shimmering light.

Fireflies dancing in twilight's gleam,

A summer's enchanting, magical dream.

Ice cream cones in my hands are so sweet,

A treat to make the heat complete.

Long, warm evenings, a gentle embrace,

Summer's magic in every trace.

So let the sun linger a bit more,

As summer knocks on the heart's door.

A season's tale, forever sung,

In the warmth where memories are strung.
