Stranger Cities

Stranger Cities

1 min 222 1 min 222

How do you gasp into

A stranger city and

Call it

Home?

Neon lights, hostile hearts, studio

Apartments and

Smudged skylines- what

Shelves do you decorate with

These?

In that stunted

Backyard, how do you

Cultivate love?

You steal

Hunting arrows from

A gypsy- is that

How you

Chase your pangs?

You ask me

How does trouble

Look like while I rebel

Against my

Gods.

Why do you protest

When they

Call you

A sinner?

Because your sins are

Different

Than theirs?

You were never a

Cosmic mistake- we just

Come from different Hells.

You choke me with the thorn

Vine that grows In your

Flower pot.

I should know that you

Cannot be my

Holy grail.

But what do we ever learn?
