Stagnant

—I've become too stagnant to even save myself from drowning; I've become too motionless to even scream whenever they pour salt on my wounds, maybe I'm just used to it or just really tired to even cry; I've become too shock and plain to even hold people back whenever they're walking out the door, maybe I'm used to being alone or maybe I'm just tired begging them to stay; I've become too static to even form any words that might sooth the burning stitches on my wrist; 

I've become something plain, something emotionless, just like an empty shell — stuck and alone onto the shore... 

and if someone come right away to break me in two or more, I think I wouldn't even dare to save myself or scream, 

because like the mourning god who pulled me out of Adam's ribs, I too am tired sulking for everyone who's leaving me 𝚠𝚒𝚍𝚎 𝚘𝚙𝚎n
