A holiday at a beach
A holiday at a beach
A holiday at a beach
A poem by Jiya Doshi
Keep away those thick books,
Keep away those boring looks,
It is time to smile wide,
To go to the beach with a high tide,
Do swell up with pride,
Making sandcastles pretty,
Let them wash away,
Don't cry,
For they may never,
stay forever,
Them are meant for fun and destruction,
They are meant for motivation,
Of making more and bigger ones,
Let us make pits,
Let us draw in sand,
Let us play in water,
Now it is time for some sports,
Let us play,
With gay,
Win or Lose,
Who cares,
Spread a smile on your face ,
But never let it fade,
The holiday is over,
Time to return,
To our monotonous life,
This was truly a cherished memory,
It is like a chest of treasury.
