The Day I Met My Life

I met a girl few days back

And as i saw she wasn't perfect

I stood there for a while, thinkin she may talk

But i guess she enjoyed more to gawk

Her eyes were filled with sadness like they described my heart

Her body full of scars with skin ripped apart

I went near her and asked the reason

She told me they were "WORDS" and not the winter season

I told her to be stronger and she told me the same

It felt like we were on same level

Playing the life's game

I wanted to hug her but she disappeared

Her sudden absence made me feel a little weird

For a moment i felt,

I met someone who resided inside me

I realised that i masked happiness but there's sadness inside me

I understood it later that

She wasn't a girl but my life

Which showed me reality and pleaded to survive
