Spark

I discovered a glint:

A bitty bright spark,

That’s rooted underneath

In the hollows of my soul.

Anon I realized,

It’s the ultimate part

That I get back to

In my mindful moments.

It never fades away,

For it ignites splendidly;

Conjuring a fiery fire

Blazing in my bones.

It mentors me,

To set my glinting vision

Beyond the strolling clouds.

It keeps me alive,

For the ultimate purpose

That I was wired for.

It whispers into my ears

A tale of heroism,

Energizing my survival

With goosebumps all over.

It drives me to shatter

The so called mediocrity.

To unleash the immense potential,

That is concealed within.

It impels me to reflect

On the heroic legacy,

Brought to me

By the yesteryears.

It chisels me warily,

Into a better version

Of my puny existence;

That lies on this minor planet

Of an eternal cosmos.
