A Monsoon Tale

A Monsoon Tale

Sedentary by a hoary bay,

I gazed around with a keen eye.

I felt the onset,

Of a change so enticing.

The sun so alluringly veiled,

By tall and lanky woods.

The stars then glared,

Boldly in their mirth.

Soon at another jiff,

Gust and gale blew by.

Dun clouds hovered the Alps,

And camouflaged the sky.

A wintry puff pecked me,

That departed so gently.

A drizzle came descending,

T

hat spread bliss over sod.

My heart sprung with joy,

Ushered an elegant smile.

Up on my li’l feet,

Afoot towards the portal.

I looked up and bounced,

As my feet dampened by grass.

Clasped by gentle puff,

In my mirth I lugged.

Kissed by the bitty drops,

As they end their sojourn.

Just then arrived a tempest,

So strong and sturdy;

That took me afar,

From where I was never to return.
