Soul Vacation
Soul Vacation
Grief sunk into the bones but the body was left unfazed
Am I relishing the pleasurable sorrow?
Am I wishing to get immune to it?
Days, and years pass by in imaginative confusion
Paused and compelled a vacation from me
Holding your hand,
Walking endless roads
Laughing until cheeks ache
Roaming in unknown zones
Exploring new cuisines
Fighting over silly things
Greedily etching memories
The tsunami of emotions endlessly
Playing in a timeless love loop in mind
I had a vacation
Not a material one
Not a time bounded one
A spiritual one, indeed a divine soul vacation
We share a slice of life in every birth
And disappear like a moon but never quit
As our souls are knotted,
We travel endlessly hugged
And etch memories in every birth!
