Sometimes
Sometimes
Sometimes the world is still,
In silent reverie it lies,
Sometimes the heart does thrill,
Beneath the vast and starlit skies.
Sometimes the winds do sigh,
Through trees that gently sway,
Sometimes the dreams do fly,
In realms where shadows play.
Sometimes the tears do fall,
In solitude they stream,
Sometimes we hear the call,
Of hopes that dance and gleam.
Sometimes the stars refuse to shine, and darkness veils the night, yet we hope for a glimpse of light.
Sometimes life's melody,
Is a bittersweet refrain,
Sometimes we find the key,
To ease our heart's own pain.
Sometimes in the embrace of dawn's first light,
We find the courage to arise,
In the depths of darkest night,
We uncover our inner skies.
