I wish I could let out my words,

Which are deeply hidden for you,

But they are trying to suppress,

Drying up in fear,

And I am left speechless!

I wish I could write a letter,

Expressing you my love,

But, I turn the letter into a paper boat,

Immersing it into the water,

And I am left gazing it floats!

I wish I could see you,

Always like a star in the sky,

But, I choose to close my eyes,

To see you in my illusion,

And I am left dreaming!

I wish I could hug you,

To share the warmth in your arms,

But my arms are frozen,

Waiting for you to hug,

And I am left seeking!

I wish I could hear you always,

Like a sweet melody,

Instead, I close my ears,

Listening to your rhythm in my heart,

And I am lost in my silent love!
