Silence...
Silence...
What if we all become deaf,
Numb,
Like space above, beneath and around,
What if we all get engaged in playing lost and found,
No noise, no voice, no sound,
Who will play with these words then?
The truths and the lies...
The thunderous laughter,
And the howling cries,
Who will need encouragement,
Said of the hollow speech,
Who will listen and who will preach,
Who'll seek the shelter, walking the miles,
Who'll seek refuge in masked smiles,
The pats on the back, cheering crowd,
If there still be anyone to laugh out loud?
Who will get down, when fail,
For whom then success will be a matter of pride,
Who then will compete for the sky,
Who will then ride the tide,
Aren't we then just looking into the eyes
and listen to heart,
Aren't we then seeing the souls walking,
Isn't it fine if we someday shut the mouth,
And let the silence do the talking.
Care for all and we'll worry a little less,
Isn't then we become more a human than just a mess.
