She Is Trapped
She Is Trapped
On the bombardment of so many voices,
Arising from her surroundings,
She makes an effort and does her best
To make her life and others comfortable.
Yet, she is tormented by those near
And dear to her.
"You are stupid, simple,
A big failure,
Can't handle anything,
So scary and cowardly,"
So many remarks wrapped
In poisonous questions.
Initially, she was distracted,
Losing her confidence,
Trembling with fear,
Wondering if she's really a loser.
Then she shrugged her head off,
As God is always with her,
"You can do it,"
Her inner voice whispered,
And put her back with more power and confidence.
She eases all her pain
And turns the hurdles
Into stepping stones to success,
Shining out bright.
