Sailing Upon A Thundercloud
Sailing Upon A Thundercloud
The clouds skitter across
The wide azure expanse, like little
Sheep
Grazing on a field
Of blue periwinkle while
The sun shines down
On me, like the warmth of a hug
Seeping into my skin.
And I am
Surrounded by blades of brilliant,
Brilliant green gently dotted
With drops of dew, like they’ve spent the
Night with the rain.
The fragrance of lavender envelopes my
Senses, the soft purple a beautiful
Enchantress,
Dream, she says and so I do.
Brown eyes shut, I dream.
I dream of a mind so sharp and so open, a
Mind that dreams things nobody has the
Strength to
A mind like a ship standing
Strong in the storm wrecking her, tearing
Her apart
With its fury and ravaging her with its
Vicious caresses.
She stands proud and
Tall, quietly confident in her ability
Fighting back with all her might,
Conquering
Even as the dark night blankets
The world and the moon is
Her sole companion.
Bathed in a silvery shine,
She rules
She rises from the depths and soars,
Sailing upon a thundercloud.
I can see it all, and when
My eyelashes flutter open, exposing the
World to me
There are
Stars braided in my hair
And
Dreams shining in my eyes.
