Rising From A Conflict

Rising From A Conflict

Drenched in shadow,
I stand
Flames within begin their sway,
A molten dance in disarray,
Each flicker rising through the black,
No path ahead,
No turning back.

Elated echoes split the air,
Repeating in relentless time,
A rhythm born from breaking ground,
From silent screams
And buried rhyme.

Sharp-edged tongues of fire spin wide,
Lashing winds on every side.
Ash rains down
Fractured stars
While waves of heat
Consume my scars.

I tremble—not from fire’s sting,
But from the ache
Of everything
That hides behind the veils of thought,
Where fear is forged
And lessons taught.

Still I reach, I wrest control,
The storm outside reflects my soul.
In lands untouched by name or frame,
Where peace exists
Beyond all claim,
I’m drawn to truths that don’t appear
In books unread
Or thoughts austere.

The soul strikes deep
A fierce campaign
Upon my heart, my blood, my brain.
It breaks the shell that once confined
The silent voice
I’d left behind.

It calls for change
Not just repair,
But wiring new
What once was there:
To forge a life of conscious light,
To print the self
In sharpest white.

Mind and soul, once split, now speak
A council formed
Of strong and meek.
We weigh the wounds, we draft the plan,
To end the war
Where it began.

From scorched remains,
We plant again,
The roots of calm
That follow pain.
And there, beyond the edge of thought,
A world stands still
Untouched, unsought.

It does not wait with reasons told,
But opens arms,
And does not fold.
