Many a blood shed for thee ,

Many a head decapitated for thee ,

Many many hearts pray for thee ,

Many other hands crave destruction for thee ,

Seldom are times when we fail to protect thee ,

But cometh the hour we readily lay our lives for thee,

For You are the Guardian of India's steadfast journey.
