Privileged Ones

How privileged are we, to get what we want,

The world provides us with so much to flaunt,

While to the ones who don't get what they need,

Can the universe does not provide enough for them to feed?

They stand there staring us with their gloomy eyes, being oh so wise.

Wondering as we leave their sight asking themselves,

Can they never realize our plight as for them every new day is a fight?

We ignore them, owning things worth crores giving them leftovers as they got tore.

Judging them as we see them on the roads as their bones peep through their clothes finding joy in our worn-out toys,

Is happiness that cheap how would we know because we have everything but all we do is weep to tell the doctor, I can't sleep
