Poem 1 - Song Of The Cosmos

Every living creature on earth

On the same cosmic journey

In the same soul train

Rushing ahead of each other in vain...

Compartmentalized by races and religions

And other false illusions

Divided by point of view

Losing sight of the bird's eye view

Carrying the burden of hate

To reach an imaginary heavenly gate,

Ignoring the paradise we live in

Separated and divided by fear and hate

We have the same old history to relate….

Ending civilizations to prove superiority

Sacrificing the human race for authority,

Lost in the same maze for ages

Clinging to past baggage

Hoarding for the future a luggage

Though have to exit empty-handed...

Tossed randomly by Time's waves

till we wake up to realize

in lifting each other we rise.

Ascending earthly realms we see

Earth is heaven, heaven is on earth

sans borders of heart and mind

Hurtling in the vastness in a blue-green sphere

Going around a ball of fire

It's a miracle if we see....

We are stardust sprinkled randomly

Into different bodies for many lives

To realize-We are a soul, we are 1 soul

doing the same dance for eternity

Till we realize we are the universe and infinity...
