Passing Through The Passage Of...

Passing through the passage of time, I admired someone by chance!

Nights stood still and the moon faded out, just at her first smiley glance!

Her bright face tore away the darkness of new-moon night,

And her wavy hairs were the shadow in the scorching noon!

Listening to those words which played on her lips as a poem,

Aroused the sensations in flowers and petals began to croon!

When she stepped on the lawn and flaunted her beauty as a fawn,

It felt as if the splendorous paradise lied beneath her red feet!

And the way she gave soothing tunes to the verses mellifluously,

Isn't one's cup of coffee to portray how sweet was her tweet!

The grace of heavens lit the tiny lamps in the niche of the heart

And brightened up the dark nights on the dreamy paths ahead!

Admirers wished good luck and the friends demanded the feast,

But, the wandering soul toured the utopia, by just lying abed!

Alas! By a calm wind, the caravan of dreams got broken up,

Few memories got faded away and few are still preserved!

These days, amidst the pages of poetries, the dried petals,

And in the literature, those dreams are getting reminded!

Those nights of waiting, after all, passed away leaving me alone!

Those lamps in the niche of my heart blew out, leaving me alone!
