Parts Of Me

One day, he'll miss parts of me

Those that I'd given away,

They have made their places

In his crevices

And must have lightened up his days.

One day, he'll realize those parts of me

That I'd so selflessly given away,

With every piece of me still intact,

But I'm hurt day-by-day...

I think he'll soon realize,

Those parts would be rainbows all around him

He needs them, I think

My parts, more than I do... 

What about me? I wonder sometimes...

Without some parts, will I be able to survive?

But I think I can;

Those parts of me

That I'd given away so easily

And which I can never get back from him,

But for myself, I'll grow again

My very new roots from under my skin...
