Our Unending Road

In between the woodland,

lay a road that was ours,

we walked on it quietly,

oblivious to the fleeting hours.

The time seemed to slow down,

in that little twisted road,

He was there and so was I,

and a different love that flowed.

Let me take you deeper,

to the unknown story of our love,

walk with us through the road,

and feel the bridge of unspoken words.

Do you see the trees around?

and the river flowing on our side?

or the birds that are singing along,

to the music of their tiny lives?

Look at the cotton clouds above,

that have come to kiss the sun good-bye,

and feel the breeze that’s filling our hearts,

with the air of love spread across the sky.

We stole glances,

and all my pain melted away,

for when I saw him smiling,

it was the perfect time of the day!

His deep eyes that sparkled,

and his perfect ‘hidden-dimpled’ smile,

but more than that what mattered,

was his beautiful soul inside.

You could feel his aura,

in the stillness of the moment,

and love was an infinite treat,

flowing through us with no end.

The nature connected somehow,

our imperfect bodily egos,

for beyond the physical there was,

a universe that conspired and changed its flow,

to create something more beautiful,

than anything that the world has seen,

the sparkles shined with wonders,

and the lightening tore our physical being,

our souls were united,

and our hearts were intensely delighted.

We sat on the grass silently,

holding our hands together,

the beauty of his presence made my eyes water,

for his touch felt like a feather.

In front of us we saw,

the amazing world of God,

his presence beside me was all,

that was needed to make me awed.

It may sound too magical.

but our love was simple and strong,

a beauty of friendship colouring us,

in its purest form.

Timeless and infinite,

and though it was slow,

we didn't 'fall' in love,

it made us 'grow'.

No words were spoken,

but enough we spoke,

just by stealing glances,

we created a bond that could never broke.
