New Year Resolutions!!

The year has finally come to an end;

Signifying that everything shall end someday.

There is so much to be thankful for the almighty,

For guiding me through the year with happiness and prosperity.

                         

I know some days were harder than others.

Indeed, life is a mixture of several ingredients.

All those good and bad days are gone now,

And they remain as a memory to be cherished hereafter.

                         

There isn’t anything that I shall lament for,

As I have realized the futility of the past.

There is so much hope that I hold for the future,

Which I shall embark and dedicate with a peak of the zest.

                         

It’s time to reflect upon my dwellings for a year,

And count on my good actions toward humanity.

I must collect all the mistakes I have done,

And make sure not to repeat this in the coming year.

                         

I shall commit to make the coming year more fruitful,

With the mountains of lessons learned and experiences gained.

I shall count on what I have achieved for others,

To celebrate my existence in society.

                         

I keep my expectations high,

So that I keep soaring higher.

I dream of something that I’ve never dreamt,

And I shall keep chasing it until I succeed.

                         

Every new year is exciting;

Individual and family plans are drawn and resolutions are passed.

I have my plans and resolutions too;

I commit to flow with the time and live a content life.

                         

I wish a happy new year to everyone,

With prayers of hope, optimism, and happiness.

Let there be not a single misfortune on the way,

And the journey for a year be smooth and peaceful.
