New Road

The road not taken, 

The word not spoken, 

The sword not raised, 

Are the lamenting past 

Trying to create turbulence,

Hardcore feelings hesitating 

To fall prey to past emotions.

Present position

Reluctant to swig the liquor 

Of past failures 

And 

When I close my eyes, 

My daunting mind wants 

To achieve a lot, 

My heart still craves 

For new heights, 

My feet want to steadily 

March on the 

New road of hopes 

And my life wants momentum.
