My Treasure Box
My Treasure Box

My most precious box of treasure,
Whose value has no measure,
It is hidden in the safest place.....
From where none can get even a trace.
I open it at my own pace,
When I feel void in my space.
It's there deep down in my heart,
It's a glance at my life in short.
Whenever I am crumpled my life's blues,
The treasure box adds some hues.....
With my eyes close,
I open the treasure loose...
And then the heavenly breeze...
Of your memories freeze,
I yearn to hear from you.....
I struggle to look for you ...
I wish I could snatch you
To add years to my life with you.....
I miss you every day.
I try to reminiscence the words you say
,
I want you back come what may
I fear opening my eyes!
I can't lose moments so nice...
Flowing tears, snubbing hiccups...
Remind my life without you has no ups,
Every downfall for you I long,
I'm not sure if I'm strong?
People around want to prove me wrong.
Stubborn me won't let it come true.
Mettle mine is blessed for a few...
Every now n then I open my treasure box.
Hug you, feel you love you mom n then I lock.
Unfulfilled dreams, wishes n responsibilities are stock,
With trembling hands, shriveling voice, Courage I gather
My destination I know is farther...
I will be successful...
This is my vow to you dear MOTHER...
