Hope

A state where

We are surrounded by an impression that

Expectations would meet the reality

And to relish the reminiscence

When we are

The despair of hope.

It’s hope.

To sense it irrefutably

That everything would be

Destined exquisitely

And it would be alike

A rainbow following the downpour.

It’s hope.

The sun gets dusky

Late afternoon

Only to resurrect eminently

The following Aurora

Much higher in the sky.

It’s hope.

The person diagnosed with cancer

Though there’s a little time left

But still combating to survive.

It’s hope.

After kissing the failures

Almost a hell lot of time

I am still standing

On my own feet

To make my efforts count

Because I will succeed someday.

It’s hope.

It’s something that keeps me going

Even when I don’t want to

Even when I am completely lost

Even when I am exhausted.

It’s hope.
