My 12th Birthday

On the precursory day,

I went out the eleventh hour;

To celebrate and pray

In the presence of the garden’s green power.

 

When the clock struck twelve,

I was highly exuberant;

Sixth grade was about to get excelled,

Was ready to get rid of things truant.

 

The day started at ten,

Greetings from my parents,

But planning for my b’day…..?When!

 

The real day started after 2 o’clock,

When we went to the Barbeque Nation;

Happiness unlocked!

The day turned into an Occasion!

 

I ate the Cajun Potatoes which was my most favorite

Then prawns ,fishes and kulfis,

With mouth licking seekh kebab’s bite

My tummy was happy and all ate with hypnosis.

 

Then we went..

To my Uncle’s house

To cut the German's chocolate cake,

With burgers and aunt’s Biryani-homemade.
