Mother (2)
Mother (2)
Lost when my time began
New to this big wide world
Unaware of what was planned
But I was not alone
Our connection began with a cord
But lived on by a string of motherly love
They severed the cord
But they could never severe the love
She Read me like a book
Her eyes reading mine,
Of course, she knew where to look!
She had written me in lines
And She always knew what to say
At the right place, at the right time
Now I’m as aware of lands and skies
As she greatly was
But I could only ever hope to be as human
As my mother.
