Bzzz, bzzz, bzzz....
Is the sound it does.
Hovering around our ears,
N awakens us instantly with fears.
They visit us along with family,
N sit on our skin, with audacity.
Bites and leaves us with their sting,
As busy they were, with supping.
Move our hand, we do inadvertently,
Oh, but escape it does, remarkably.
Left we are, with tiny red bumps,
That inturn converts us into grumps.
Sleep is lost in the midst of it all,
Powerful they are, though so small.
Careful, we need be with them around,
For, disease vectors they are, renowned.
