Morning

In the morning light I wake,

To the world that's newly made.

The birds outside begin to sing,

As the gentle breeze begins to bring.

The sun breaks through the clouds above,

And fills the world with warmth and love.

The flowers bloom in colors bright,

And the world is bathed in golden light.

The day is new,

full of possibility,

And I am filled with energy.

I step outside,

breathe in the air,

And feel my worries disappear.

In the morning light I find my peace,

And all my troubles seem to cease.

I am grateful for this brand new day,

And all the blessings that come my way.
