Melting Moments

The cuckoo clock ticks steady; 

Evenly paced , neither fast

Nor too slow.

The mind resists; the spirit: willing and ready. 

The melting moments seem to

Ebb and flow.

The molten lava of life, coursing in the veins; 

Pulsating, rhythmically, neither fast

Nor too slow.

It's time to leave the shore , let go of the stifling reins. 

Pause; desist and hesitate no more.

To fathom the ocean's depth, 

Take willingly the leap of faith!

Inaction is but a warning sign,

It's not by accident, but 

By design,

Our paths have crossed yet again!

It's now or never; exercise

Your choice :

Eternal bliss or bitter regret

And pain;

Speak up or forever hold your peace

And voice.
