What mask shall I wear today? 

To express what my heart can't say

What am I feeling right now? 

So I can pair it with my mask somehow

Shall I wear the one with a smile? 

To pretend everything's okay for awhile 

Or the one with the frown and tear?

To try and let my feelings be sincere

Shall I wear the one with fiery eyes?

And all the meaning it implies 

Or the one with rose-tinted glasses? 

To give the red flags a lot of chances

What mask shall I wear today? 

To hide and be seen in some sort of way

Or I'll stay at home and be alone 

So I don't have to set a different tone
