Magical Night Sky

Its not the twilight nor even dawn,

But only when its all dark around,

And stars are set to flaunt their shine,

Blending with moon in a perfect rhyme!

When the world sleeps and peace overpowers,

Someone there takes the charge,

Of silently listening to each broken soul,

And allowing their tears to get out of control!

None other, instead the night sky it is,

Beautiful and serene, but talkative too,

Which treasures all those stories,

Of laughter, pain and worries!

To some it may seem calm and tight-lipped,

Or may be an escape to sleep,

But ever known how harsh it’s been to insomniacs?

Who struggle to doze and urge a time lapse!

Yet, there are ample of moments,

The night sky has witnessed each time,

As it beautifully smiled at the world,

When earth took its spin and twirled!

Those romantic nights of kisses and making love,

And the tales of broken hearts and tears,

Also, when the slut was forced on bed,

And domestic violence beneath darkness was turning someone dead!

It knows it all, with every truth and lie,

For nothing is there kept hidden from the night sky,

Which hears it even when you do not reveal,

And speaks to you with sheer emotions and feel,

Explaining how darkness senses every appeal,

Helping you surrender anxiety and letting the heart heal!
