Love And You?
Love And You?
My lips tremble as I try saying the word LOVE,
My feet feel the coldest on the nights
When I think of what love is/
I have seen love in various art forms,
And in humans, in various relations.
My best friend says me Iloveyou,
And my problems tend to shoo away/
My mother has a sacred relationship with God,
And every time she goes to the temple,
She prays for not her, not the world, but for me/
My father pretends he is a tough shell,
But hugs me tight on my sick, bad days/
But as I start, writing what love meant for us,
I feel the world sinking and the word getting darker.
You say me sweet
nothings, and you do nothing,
Ironically, I tend to believe in sugar coats more,
Because I was and will always be a fan of chocolates/
Love came to me in different arts, and indifferent relations,
But with you, it just lost its sacredness/
As I sit here in front of the shore of the river,
I see water making its way through stones,
Without hurting them/
I see up in the sky, birds flying high
And in the midst, two birds catching each other/
But as I come back to reality,
Our loves drown me in pain/
I have seen and smiled through all love forms,
But with you, the word love takes away my smile.
