Lockdown
Lockdown
A sunny day one morn,
I thought like a bee.
Go play, and tour,
Out in the world, free.
But oh, it wasn't to be.
The virus spreading all around,
Dropping people in domes.
And those managing to escape,
Unable to even roam,
Became shut in their homes.
No one to play with,
No person on the street.
No one visiting you,
Not being able to meet.
Except for a tweet.
A year after first spotted,
We must claim the battleground.
By taking proper precautions,
We can win our hard round,
While still being bound.
