Little Ornaments, Veiled Enamour

Little Ornaments, Veiled Enamour

I knew it when you touched me for the first time on our engagement.

Two souls amalgamating into one

For a lifetime of merriment.

I know it won’t be a bed of roses -

Forever of happiness.

I also know “I’ll never be sad”

Accompanied by your coziness.

Life in itself promises hardships.

Not with you though.

Even if we are not together,

Your love will be with me in your touch.

I remember it now.

I shall remember forever.

Eternity waits for us.

When I shall meet you in heaven.

It’s the beginning of a sadness

Which will be happy forever.

It’s an end of tangible love

Welcoming eternal surrender.
