Lion King

A sunny day

The weather was fine

Today I wished

To be a lion.

I reached a family

Resting under a tree

They had their meal

Now they were free.

As I was going

Toward the queen

King lion intervened

Said'' what are you doing''.

I told him that

I just want to talk

Only a few minutes chat

Let's go for a walk.

When he was convinced

He told all the things

And how hard it is

To become the king.

Everyone is loyal

Till you are fit

Nobody cares

When you are sick.

To reach this stage

It must be known

Without friends, for years

Had to wander alone.

Have to quarrel with others

To keep family intact

And if you lose

You have to go, that's a fact.

To remain a king

It's not so easy

To maintain the position

Always keeps you busy.

After talking to the lion

I came to a conclusion

''My life tough, his life easy''

All of us have this illusion.
