Life, A Bargain?

We all want to numb the pain

We all want to be dumb again

We all want to live this life

And yet we don't feel alive

We all try to be so smart

And tragically we all lose our art

We all want someone real on our door

When we all are fake to our core

We all try to pretend, we are something

When the truth is, we are nothing

We all want love

Yet we cause each other pain

We all want something in return

And made this life a bargain
