O Heavenly Father, Dweller of the Skies!

Why dost Thou reign so high, beyond mortal sight?

Amidst the clamor of this weary world,

Where time doth race, unbridled, untamed,

Oh, let me not wander this restless path.

O Divine Keeper, Shrouded in Clouds!

Doth no soul glimpse Thy celestial throne?

Again, I kneel in whispered prayer—

Return me to the golden days of yore,

Where innocence danced in childhood's light,

Oh, let me not wander this restless path.

O Sovereign of All, the Ultimate Truth!

Art Thou but a dream or the fabric of fate?

I long to rest where love is softest—

Cradled safe in my mother's embrace,

A fleeting thought, a whispering sigh,

Oh, let me not wander this restless path.

O Mighty Artisan of Life's Design!

Why hast Thou woven a world so frenzied?

I sought not wings to outpace the winds,

But only the heart of a gentle lamb,

Meek, unchained by the burdens of toil,

Oh, let me not wander this restless path.

O Master of Time, Weaver of Fate!

Is this grand theatre of life Thy making?

I crave not conquest, nor boundless lands,

But only the murmurs of my grandmother's tales,

Where wonder stirred in a squirrel's gaze,

Oh, let me not wander this restless path.

O Silent Witness to Mortal Woe!

Why dost Thou grieve in shadows unseen?

I would tread the world from my father's shoulders,

A drifting dreamer, light as a bird,

Oh, let me not wander this restless path.
