It saddens to see

How directionless this world looks

It saddens to see 

How the sheep are scattered 

Being without a shepherd 

It saddens to see 

How legs slip on one another 

Being in the darkness 

Obviously, there is an absence of light

It saddens to see 

The fold full of babies

One wising the other up 

In their own naivete 

Obviously, there's an absence of a teacher 

It saddens to see 

The fold full of the blind

Behold, they are stumbling on one another 

Because this way they can't see 

Obviously, there's the absence of a guide

If I can be the light 

In this world of darkness 

If I can be the guide 

In this world of the blind 

If I can be the shepherd 

To these scattered sheep 

If I can be the teacher 

Of these babies

If I can be the change 

I dream of seeing in this world

Then my dream will become the world's reality.
