I Will Drink A River

An epic I’ll scribe

Singing our love.

An ode I’ll carve

As it might seem odd.

A river I’ll drink

So could you cross it?

Poetry is what maybe

Flowing through my veins.

But your love is what

Keeping my heart pound.

Without it will be I

A feast for vultures

Then dirt
