I Do Not Know

 As I uncovered my face from underneath the sheets ,

 I heard the gentle tapping of raindrops against my window.

Ah... calm and serene, 

Such bliss!

And then was it the smell of the wet soil that broke my spell,

Or was it your aura summoning me?

 I know I get poetic 

Losing myself amidst your thoughts, 

And at times overdramatic too.

'Hormones baby!' You say... 

But is it nothing beyond hormones?  

I do not know.
