Human Need

Strange isn't it,

The need for humans,

To satisfy our being,

For love, for hate,

For control, for freedom,

For life, for death,

For success, for failure,

Yet each day.

There are moments,

When we long for peace,

Away from human glare,

In the rays of God's grace,

For healing and strength,

To venture forth,

For being innately human,

In the world of humans,

To ensure our human need.
