How I Wish to see Deepawali

I want to see this festival of light 

More colourful and more bright,

As it is today! 

An eco friendly way to celebrate,

Forgetting about all delicacy and hate 

Want to enjoy it with full faith,

But for crackers and busters a positive update.

The same grand laxmi pujan,

But leaving the money illusion

The same way of exchanging sweets,

Same happy wishes and greets.

I don't want to see the decorative house,

Nor the fake exclamatory wow's 

When not a single body will be fighting the hunger fight,

That diwali will be the real bright!

I wish to see every soul as pure as of Budhha,

With old rituals, I wish to see modern Ayodhya!!
